Questions & Answers
1. What are your payment terms?
T/T, Paypal, Western union, L/C ,ESROW.
2. What is your lead time?
1-2 days. We have our own warehouse and stock in large quantities.
3. What alternate surface finishes are available?
Beyond standard HASL, we also provide those surface finishes: ENIG, OSP, Immersion Silver, ENPIG, and Immersion Tin.
4. What customization services do you provide? Can you customize the shape of the PCB?
Yes, we offer comprehensive MCPCB customization services, including but not limited to PCB metal core, shape, color, copper thickness, copper layers, and so on. As long as your custom requirements are within our production capabilities, we will provide you with the best services.
5. What’s the maximum temperature that the aluminum core PCB can withstand?
The maximum temperature our standard aluminum core PCB can withstand is 150°C. We can also provide enhanced MCPCB versions with a maximum working temperature of up to 200°C.
6. What’s the dimensional accuracy that customized metal core PCB can achieve?
Our PCB production is advanced to control the dimensional accuracy within ±0.1mm. If you ask for higher accuracy in some applications, we can control it ±0.05mm through special processing.
7. When should I choose copper vs. aluminum cores?
Choosing copper or aluminum core depends on your budget and specific applications. The copper PCB has superior heat dissipation but is more costly and heavy. Aluminum PCB has good thermal performance and is more affordable and lightweight. If you need to use the PCB for high-performance and high-power designs and have a sufficient budget, copper PCB is the best choice; While aluminum is a more cost-effective solution for consumer electronics, commercial applications, lighting, and more.
8. Why is the dielectric layer thickness critical for a metal core PCB?
The thickness of the dielectric layer is important in balancing electrical insulation and thermal performance. Thinner dielectrics have good heat transfer but influence electrical breakdown at high voltages, while thicker layers have a contrast effect. So, designers need to balance the layer thickness to provide the best performance.
10. Are your MCPCBs resistant to moisture and chemicals?
Standard MCPCBs don’t resist moisture and chemicals, but we can make some protective measures like anodized coatings, conformal coatings, or high-Tg dielectric materials to enhance durability and reliability.
