Tg180 Wholesale High Tg FR4 PCB

$32.90

Product Description

MOKOPCB provides wholesale high-Tg FR4 PCBs made from FR4 laminate with a high Tg(≥ 170°C or higher). This 6-layer high Tg180 FR4 is designed for high-power and high-reliability applications like automotive systems and industrial control boards. Tg180 allows them to resist thermal deformation and delamination under high temperatures, so as to have a greater performance and longer lifespan. We support customizing bulk orders with a reasonable price and great quality.

Questions & Answers

1. What are your payment terms?

T/T, Paypal, Western union, L/C ,ESROW.

2. Is this FR4 Tg180 PCB compatible with lead-free(RoHS) soldering process?

Yes, fully compatible. High-Tg180 FR4 is capable of withstanding lead-free reflow(260–280°C). It has high Tg(180℃) and Td(Decomposition Temp ≥350°C), ensuring no delamination and blistering during reflow cycles. It also meets IPC-4101/21 standards, confirming its reliability for industrial, automotive applications.

3. How does the 6-layer stack-up benefit? Can I customize an 8 and 12-layer Tg180 FR4 PCB?

6-layer Tg180 PCB optimizes signal integrity to reduce EMI and crosstalk, and higher density also allows it to be used for complex designs like DDR4.
We definitely support 8-layer,12-layer, or other layer customization, and the costs also rise by about 15% per additional layer. Provide us with your key requirements, like layer count, Tg, copper weight, and we will offer you a custom quote.

4. Can I use HASL instead of ENIG for cost savings?

Not advised to use HASL for High-Tg180 because the thermal shock of HASL(270°C+) may risk layer separation. Besides ENIG, you can also choose immersion tin or OSP.

5. Are buried and blind vias supported in this high Tg180 PCB?

Yes, we support drill buried vias and blind vias with a typical minimal size of 0.15mm, but it will increase the cost.

6. Can a high-Tg PCB be flexible?

No, high-Tg PCBs are rigid because their material, high-Tg FR4, is a thermoset resins that resist bending to maintain thermal stability. However, we can try flex-rigid hybrid high-Tg circuits.

7. How does high Tg affect drilling and via formation in multilayer FR4 PCBs?

High-Tg FR4 PCB has drilling challenges for its rigid and brittle resin, which can cause increased tool wear and resin smear during via formation. Laser drilling and post-drill desmear treatments are necessary techniques to ensure reliable via conductivity in high-Tg multilayer PCBs.

8. Why are high-Tg laminates more prone to resin smear during drilling?

It is because glass-reinforced resins of the PCB fracture into fine debris rather than cut cleanly. Besides, inorganic fillers like silica increase abrasion, and the reduced elasticity at high temperatures causes debris that accumulates in drilled holes.

9. Are high-Tg PCBs necessary for 5G and high-frequency RF applications?

Yes. High-Tg PCBs have low signal loss and thermal resistance, providing stable electrical performance for 5G, RF, and other high-frequency applications.

10. What’s your board thickness customization range?
b>

We provide a prototype with customizable thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 5mm according to different PCB layers. Standard options include 0.8mm、1.0mm、1.2mm、1.6mm、2.0mm.
