We provide a prototype with customizable thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 5mm according to different PCB layers. Standard options include 0.8mm、1.0mm、1.2mm、1.6mm、2.0mm.

What solder mask color do you provide?

To keep uniform brightness across the whole LED panel, it mainly needs to address electrical, thermal, and optical factors. In this LED panel PCB, we use the aluminum substrate to prevent overheating and optimize PCB design with symmetrical power distribution, low-resistance traces, and proper grounding to ensure consistent current flow.

5. How can you protect the PCB from moisture in outdoor LED panels?

To protect outdoor LED panel PCBs from moisture, we will use conformal coating or potting compound like silicone for complete waterproofing.

6. Can you plate copper in your LED panel via holes?

Yes, we support plating copper in the via holes of the LED panel to improve conductivity and heat dissipation. Heat management is fundamental for LEDs with great performance and longer lifespans.

7. Why does my PCB panel have dark spots?

Dark spots may stem from poor solder joints, uneven voltage distribution, thermal overheating, inconsistent LED binning, or contamination. MOKOPCB always takes quality at first, and tests PCBs stringently before packaging.

8. What increases the cost of LED panel PCBs the most?

The biggest cost drivers of LED panel PCB are size, layer count, copper thickness, trace spacing, and thermal management. You can reduce cost by using FR4 over aluminum and using mid-bin LEDs if uniformity is not critical.
