Questions & Answers

1. What are your payment terms?

We provide T/T, PayPal, Western Union, L/C, and ESROW for payment.

2. Why choose ENIG as a surface finish for multilayer PCB?

ENIG (Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold) is widely used in multilayer PCBs in that it has sound planarity, corrosion resistance, and solderability, The nickl layer of ENIG provides the PCB a robust barrier and the gold coaing prevent oxidation and ensures reliable wire bonding, making it perfected by aerospace, medical, or RF designs

3. Can I Use ENIG for Flexible PCBs?

No, ENIG is only used for rigid PCBs, and if you want to manufacture flex PCBs, you can choose Immersion Silver or OSP.

4. Which dielectric materials work best with ENIG?

FR4 and Rogers are acceptable materials. FR4 is the most cost-effective choice for PCBs, like LEDs, for general purposes. Rogers is ideal for high-frequency or RF applications thanks to their low loss and stable Dk. Avoid PTFE and polyide with ENIG unless surface-treated, because adhesion can be unreliable.

5. What materials are used in multilayer PCBs?

Layers of copper foil, prepreg (PP) or adhesive, and core materials(FR4 or Rogers) are stacked together under high temperature and pressure to produce multilayer PCB boards.

6. Does ENIG affect thermal management in multilayer PCBs?

No. There is a nearly negligible impact on heat dissipation because the Au and Ni layers are very thin.

7. How does ENIG impact soldering performance?

ENIG enhances soldering performance thanks to its flat surface. With superior Wettability, the gold dissolves into solder, and exposed fresh nickel ensures robust joints. When correctly processed, ENIG ensures consistent and high-quality solder joints.
