Questions & Answers
What is the minimum layer line spacing you can manufacture?
The minimum layer line spacing we can fabricate is 4 mil.
2. What is the shipping port?
We ship the goods via the Port of Hong Kong or Shenzhen
3. Can you support blind/buried vias and laser microvias?
Yes, we have advanced drilling techniques for blind and buried vias and laser-drilled microvias, ensuring proper interlayer connectivity and reliability.
4. Why is polyimide (PI) the best material for flexible LED strips?
Polyimide is highly flexible but also durable. It is more durable than PET and more flexible than FR4. What’s more, it resists high heat up to 400°C+ under repeated bending and has excellent electrical insulation and superior performance in thermal management.
5. What’s the maximum temperature a Polyimide flexible LED strip can handle?
The typical temperature range of the polyimide substrate is -40°C to +200°C under continuous operation. Beyond this temperature, polyimide may discolor and lose flexibility gradually.
6. How much can your PCB flex?
For this single-layer flexible PCB, its minimum bend radius is about 3-6 times of the board thickness(0.4mm).
7. When should I use a flexible PCB in LED strips?
Using flexible LED strips when it needs curved installations(e.g., automotive interior, signage), dynamic movement(e.g., moving stage lighting, smart clothing), or tight spaces(e.g., under-cabinet lighting, flexible displays, or wearable tech). It is also ideal for waterproof design or high-density LED layouts.
8. What’s the maximum FPC size possible? Can I make a 1m length Flex?
The maximum size of double-layer flex board is 570*1200mm; four-layer FPC is 570*850mm, and 6- or over 6-layer FPC is 570*670mm.
